Synopsis

Zenos grew up poor in the slums with no real prospects, but everything changed when he met a healer by chance. He taught himself the craft and jumped at the chance to join an adventuring party led by a guy named Aston. Turns out that was a mistake—his teammates treated him like garbage. No matter how hard Zenos worked to perfect his skills, they decided he was worthless and kicked him out. Broke and desperate, he set up an illegal clinic and started working as a shadow healer in the criminal underworld. His reputation spread like wildfire. People in the city's shadier circles couldn't stop talking about how good he was. But as word of his talent got around, it eventually reached some very dangerous ears.
