Synopsis

One lonely Saturday night, college student Keiichi Morisato misdials his phone and somehow reaches the Goddess Technical Help Line. Before he knows it, a goddess named Belldandy shows up at his dorm room to grant him a single wish—basically anything he wants. Thinking he's being clever, Keiichi wishes for Belldandy to stay with him forever, figuring it's an impossible request that'll prove the whole thing is a scam. Except it actually works. The wish nearly tears apart reality itself, but it goes through anyway. Problem is, Keiichi lives in an all-guys dorm. His roommates are not thrilled to find him harboring a woman, so he gets kicked out onto the street. And that's just the beginning of the weirdness—the wish starts messing with reality in strange ways. Whenever Keiichi and Belldandy risk getting separated, random things happen to keep them together, like a broken motorcycle suddenly working again so they can ride off together.
