Synopsis

Seriu meets Yae, an older woman from the photography club who's something of a campus legend—mostly for her carefree attitude and, well, her active dating life. Their connection is surprisingly compelling though. Seriu, a former tennis player, initially sees his girlfriend as more of a burden, but he and Yae actually hit it off right away. Their relationship isn't smooth sailing—they hurt each other with brutal honesty—but they end up growing together because of it. At its core, Yasashii Watashi is a gentle romantic drama that plays out against a college campus backdrop.
