Synopsis

Young Ashito Aoi dreams of making it big as a pro soccer player, but the road ahead is brutal and unforgiving. Can he hold on long enough to reach the top? Everything changes when he meets Fukuda Tatsuya on a beach in Ehime. Tatsuya was once a rising star until his career came to a crashing halt, while Ashito is a hot-headed striker with raw talent but plenty of rough edges. After getting invited to try out for Tokyo City Esperion's youth squad, Ashito throws himself into the opportunity—partly for his own dreams, partly to build a better life for his single mother and older brother. But competitive youth soccer is a cutthroat world, and Ashito quickly discovers his shortcomings won't be easy to overcome.
