Synopsis

Van, a former soldier turned slave, has spent years grinding away in a salt mine. Everything changes when infected dogs tear through the facility, wiping out everyone except him and a young girl he rescues and names Yuna. Van figures this might be his shot at finally living peacefully with her. But that same disease starts spreading beyond the mine, threatening the entire nation. Before long, Van and Yuna find themselves caught in the middle of a conflict way bigger than anything the world's seen before. What unfolds is a story about ecosystems, viruses, and how different cultures clash.
