Far in the future, humanity survives in cramped underground colonies separated by walls of rock. Beyond their borders lies the Labyrinth—a vast, dangerous, and constantly expanding wasteland that nobody's mapped yet. The people brave enough to venture out there and chart its terrain are called Markers. Memempu is a young girl dreaming of becoming a Marker someday. Gagumber is a grizzled former Marker. Despite their mismatched ages and personalities, these two team up to tackle the Labyrinth together. Their motto pretty much says it all: "If there's no path, dig one!"
