Synopsis

One year before that useless goddess showed up, Megumin—self-proclaimed greatest genius of the Crimson Magic Clan—is obsessed. Ever since a life-changing moment in her childhood, she's thrown everything into mastering the ultimate offensive spell: Explosion. (Though she does take breaks to mooch food off her self-proclaimed rival, because priorities.) While Megumin's older sister is away, her little sister Komekko wanders into the woods and stumbles across a strange black kitten. Problem is, this cat is the key to unsealing a Dark God's tomb.
