Synopsis

In a distant future, Kowloon Walled City exists as a nostalgic refuge for people obsessed with old Hong Kong. Realtor Reiko Kujirai, though, is the opposite—she's drawn to what's new and modern. Her coworker Hajime Kudou is the nostalgic type who resents anything contemporary that leaks into their walled-off world. They constantly bicker about everything, yet somehow still enjoy spending time together. When a prank backfires, Hajime suddenly makes an unexpected move on Reiko, then immediately apologizes. Confused and curious, Reiko starts digging into what prompted it, which leads her to uncover a past she has no memory of.
