Synopsis

A remake of the original Ribbon no Kishi and the far more popular version of the story. Princess Knight follows young Princess Sapphire in a medieval fantasy world where she's forced to live as a prince. Since women can't inherit the throne, her father the King pulls off an elaborate deception from birth—announcing his newborn daughter as a son to the kingdom. Why? The heir apparent, Duke Duralumon, is a tyrant who'd crush the people under his rule. The King will do whatever it takes to keep him from power, and that means raising Sapphire in secret as the male heir everyone believes her to be.
