Synopsis

Rei Hitoma hates people. He's got reasons—traumatic ones. So when he lands what seems like a peaceful teaching gig at a remote mountain school, he thinks he's finally found his escape. Except there's a catch: his students aren't human. There's a mermaid, a werewolf, a rabbit girl, a bird kid—all of them demi-humans trying to figure out how to become fully human. Now Rei's stuck teaching them about humanity itself, which is pretty ironic considering he can't stand humans in the first place. It's not some fantasy world or reincarnation mess. It's just a quirky school, an unlikely teacher, and a bunch of students with a very specific goal. And maybe—just maybe—Rei's going to learn something about people along the way.
