Synopsis

Satan, the Demon Lord, nearly conquers Ente Isla with his massive demon army, but Hero Emilia stops him in his tracks. Desperate to escape, he and his servant Alsiel fall through a portal and end up in modern-day Tokyo with no idea where they are. Stripped of his powers and broke, Satan has to adapt fast. He takes on a human disguise—a guy named Sadao Maou—rents a cheap apartment, and gets a job at MgRonald's. As ridiculous as it sounds, he's convinced that climbing the corporate ladder is key to his ultimate goal of conquering both Ente Isla and Earth. Life as a fast-food worker isn't glamorous, but Sadao actually starts to settle in. He's got his routine, his relationships are developing, things are moving forward. Then Emilia shows up in Tokyo. The same hero who defeated him. And his problems get way more complicated.
