Synopsis

An ancient dragon—the strongest of his kind—chose to let Hero kill him. As death took hold and he prepared for eternal rest, something unexpected happened: he was reborn as Dran, an ordinary villager on the frontier. Life as a human turned out to be everything his centuries as a dragon never were. Working the fields, hunting in the forest, the simple warmth of community—it all filled him with a happiness he'd never known. For the first time, he felt truly content. That peace shatters one day when Dran is patrolling the woods near his village and stumbles upon a massive demon army on the move.
