Synopsis

When the manga starts, Mizuho's basketball team is barely hanging on. They don't have enough players to field a full squad, and their coach has already bailed after clashing with Fujiwara. Then Aikawa transfers in and changes everything—his genuine passion for basketball gets the rest of the team fired up and gives them actual reasons to keep trying. Even though there's only five of them with zero bench players, they manage to convince the girls' basketball coach to take them on as well. She comes across as pretty harsh at first, but eventually it becomes clear she really cares about "her boys." From there, the small team works together to chase their dreams.
