Synopsis

In an alternate 2023, the Your Forma—a "smart thread" technology originally created to combat a devastating viral encephalitis outbreak—is now woven into everyday life. The catch is that these threads record everything: sights, sounds, and even emotions. Echika Hieda is an electronic investigator who specializes in diving into people's memories through the Your Forma to solve crimes. She's brilliant at it, but there's a serious problem—her assistants keep ending up in the hospital, their brains basically fried from trying to keep pace with her. After one too many colleagues get hospitalized, her superiors finally pair her with someone who can actually handle working alongside her: Harold Lucraft, a capable and irreverent android. This mismatched pair needs to get over their mutual distrust fast. A dangerous technological infection is spreading globally, and they're running out of time to stop it.
