Synopsis

Takao Kasuga is a shy middle schooler obsessed with books—especially Baudelaire's Les Fleurs du Mal. He's quietly in love with Nanako Saeki, the school's perfect girl. Then there's Sawa Nakamura, the complete opposite: crude, careless about school, and generally unpleasant. One afternoon, Takao realizes he left his book at school and goes back to grab it. Instead, he finds Nanako's gym clothes on the floor—freshly discarded. Something snaps in him. He steals them. Wracked with guilt, Takao tries to move on and act normal. But Sawa saw the whole thing, and she's got plans for him now.
