After witnessing someone's death, 13-year-old Rachel "Ray" Gardner expects counseling at a hospital. Instead, she regains consciousness in the sixth basement of an abandoned building with no memory of how she got there. Lost and alone, she's branded a "sacrifice" and comes face-to-face with a bandaged figure in a hooded cloak wielding a scythe. The hooded man is Isaac "Zack" Foster, a serial killer who initially plans to murder Ray. But finding her uninteresting, he changes course and agrees to help her escape the crumbling building instead. Based on the Japanese horror adventure game of the same name, Angels of Death follows Ray and Zack as they navigate deadly traps, guards, and obstacles while slowly uncovering the traumatic secrets buried in both their pasts.
