Synopsis

Karen Kohiruimaki is a tall college student—183 centimeters—and hates it. She's awkward around people and struggles with real-world social interaction. To escape all that, she logs into Gun Gale Online as Ren, a short pink-clad avatar under 150 centimeters tall. There she meets Pitohui, an attractive dark-skinned player, and the two quickly become close. But Pitohui has other plans: she convinces Karen to enter Squad Jam, a team-based battle royale tournament.
