Synopsis

Sekai Oni follows Shinonome Azuma, a young girl whose parents are dead or missing. Left in the care of her uncle's family, she suffers severe abuse that pushes her mental state to the breaking point. The trauma manifests as Alice in Mirrorland, a rare syndrome that causes her to see impossible things reflected in mirrors, water, windows, and other reflective surfaces. Things take a turn when these visions start bleeding into reality. The line between what's real and what's in her head shatters completely, and she finds herself pulled into a twisted wonderland that exists on the other side of the mirror.
