Kuro no Hiera-Glaphicos
Valeria Costacurta is a 16-year-old from a once-powerful noble family who's just been chosen as a Dominas after discovering she has a crest—the magical tattoo that lets people use magic. Since crests are rare (only about one in ten people have them), Valeria jumped at the chance. Her dream is to restore her family's status through her own power, and getting chosen felt like her shot at it. Unlike other Dominas, who are paired with female partners to protect their virtue, Valeria gets stuck with a guy: Dimitar Richternach. He's crude, arrogant, and tactless, while she comes across as stuck-up and completely naive about how the world actually works. His aunt Orvieto reassures Valeria that Dimitar won't try anything with her—apparently he only goes for older women. Their first mission starts simple enough: investigate rumors of a rebellion in a nearby city. But the scouting job quickly goes sideways.
