Synopsis

Hazel's got it bad for Almond, a Pokémon trainer, so she tracks down her Grandpa—a bumbling magician and researcher who dabbles in Pokémon study—and asks him to whip up a love potion. Problem is, Grandpa's never actually made a potion before, and the whole thing goes catastrophically wrong, blowing up his lab. But Hazel's desperate enough that when he promises to make her better love potions if she agrees to travel around studying Pokémon, she takes the deal. Cue a worldwide adventure where she's technically supposed to be researching creatures, but really she's just trying to track down Almond the whole time.
