Synopsis

Kon bombed his college entrance exam and decided to bail—he packed up his cat and headed out from Kyoto all the way to Mount Hakodate in Hokkaido. Desperate and lost, he ran into a guy named Tachikawa Ayakane, who basically hired him on the spot to work at a café (his older brother refuses to call it that) called "Coffee & Cat." Turns out Ayakane was so impressed by how good Kon's cat looked that he wanted him to whip the café's five scruffy cats into shape. So now Kon's job is taking care of all the cats—but there's something the brothers have no idea about. Kon can actually see cats as people and understand what they're saying. Things are just getting started for Kon and his cat in their new life.
