Maison Ikkoku
Maison Ikkoku Yusaku Godai, a 20-year-old college applicant, lives at Maison Ikkoku, a run-down boarding house in Tokeizaka filled with loud and chaotic tenants. Fed up with the constant noise disrupting his studies, he decides to move out—until Kyoko Otonashi arrives as the new building manager. Instantly smitten, Yusaku abandons his plans to leave and instead focuses his energy on winning her heart. His romantic hopes face a major obstacle when he learns that Kyoko is a widow still grieving her late husband.
