The Akei sisters are a cheerful, laid-back bunch who basically live in their own comedy show. Hotaru, the oldest, is a college student—smart enough but totally spacey and lost in her own head most of the time. Hikari, the middle sister in junior high, is basically the glue holding everyone together with her hyperactive energy. Then there's Akari, the youngest elementary schooler, who's somehow the most level-headed of the three and actually the voice of reason in her own family. When they move into a big condo complex, we get to watch their easygoing, ridiculous everyday lives unfold.
