Synopsis

Fifteen-year-old Nanami Takahashi just wants to be popular at school. The problem? She can't keep up with the gossip and constantly forgets people's names, which doesn't exactly help her cause. Then she meets Motoharu Yano, this absurdly charming guy that apparently two-thirds of the girls at school are obsessed with. She finds him annoying and obnoxious, so naturally she decides she hates him. But there's more going on beneath the surface than she realizes. Yano's ex-girlfriend died in a car accident last summer, and he's never really dealt with it. The trauma has messed with how he sees the world and made it hard for him to trust anyone. As Nana gets closer to him, he just keeps pushing her away. Still, her feelings for him start changing, and she becomes determined to help him through it. Thing is, neither of them might be equipped to handle what they're dealing with.
