Gunparade Orchestra follows the 108th Guard Squad, a pretty mediocre unit of teenage pilots stationed in the frozen wasteland of Aomori. When their new commander Ishida Sara arrives determined to whip them into shape, she's got her work cut out for her—between the brutal cold and a squad that's not exactly eager to listen, getting these kids combat-ready while they're fighting for survival against the aliens is going to be rough.
