Synopsis

Candy White grew up in Pony's Home orphanage as an abandoned baby, turning into a cheerful, high-energy kid. When her best friend Annie gets adopted after six years together, Candy's heartbroken. While crying on a nearby hill, she meets a boy dressed in Scottish clothes playing bagpipes—he consoles her without ever giving his name, earning the nickname "Prince of the Hill" in her memory. Six years later, 12-year-old Candy is brought in as a companion to two wealthy siblings, Eliza and Neil Leagen, who treat her poorly. But then she meets Anthony Brown at her new home, and he bears a striking resemblance to that mysterious prince from her past.
