Synopsis

Pet Shop of Horrors Deep in the alleys of LA's Chinatown sits a strange pet shop tucked away in the urban sprawl. Its owner is a mysterious guy who calls himself Count D, and he claims to sell "love, dreams, and hope"—except his inventory consists of bizarre creatures you won't find anywhere else. Count D caters to lonely and damaged people looking for companionship. Every animal comes with a detailed contract and specific rules for care. The catch? Count D won't take responsibility if customers ignore the instructions and things go wrong. Detective Leon Orcot becomes suspicious when a string of crimes seems to lead back to the shop. Convinced that Count D is running some kind of criminal operation, Leon starts dropping by regularly to build a case against him—though the Count remains frustratingly uncooperative and calm throughout the detective's investigations.
