Atri: My Dear Moments
In the near future, a mysterious flood has submerged most of human civilization. Natsuki, a boy who lost his mother and his leg in an accident years ago, returns to his childhood home in the countryside—now half-underwater—after a rough stint in the city. With no family left and only his grandmother's old ship and submarine to his name, he's also stuck with her debts. His last real shot at rebuilding his life comes from Catherine, a suspicious debt collector who offers him a deal: dive into the sunken ruins of his grandmother's lab and find the treasure she supposedly left behind. Instead of riches, they discover something far stranger—a girl asleep in a coffin at the bottom of the sea. Her name is Atri. Atri looks and acts completely human, but she's actually a robot. Grateful to have been rescued, she makes Natsuki a promise: "I'll help you fulfill my master's final wish. Until I do, I'll be your leg!" What follows is an unforgettable summer in a small town being slowly swallowed by the sea, as this boy and the mysterious robot girl begin an unexpected journey together.
