Naruto's days as a young ninja are behind him, and a new generation is growing up in his shadow. Among them is Sarada Uchiha, the daughter of Naruto's best friends Sasuke and Sakura. She's got her father's looks down to a T, which is exactly why she's always been confused—shouldn't she look like her mom at all? Things get weird when Sarada finds a photo of Karin, one of Sasuke's old teammates, and realizes she actually looks more like this random woman than she does like Sakura. When Sasuke shows up with word of a serious threat heading their way, Naruto—now the Seventh Hokage—can't ignore it. He heads out on a mission with his old friend to investigate.
