Synopsis

A mermaid named Shiori emerges from the ocean with a simple goal: to eat the high school girl Hinako. She takes Hinako's hand and makes her intentions clear. Hinako lives alone in a seaside town and, unfortunately for her, has a body that monsters find irresistibly delicious. Shiori decides the best approach is to protect and care for Hinako—basically keeping her in good condition until she's ready to be consumed. The story follows Hinako as she grapples with her feelings while facing this slow-approaching, inescapable fate.
