Kosaku Hatanaka's got real talent for boxing, but his appetite is a problem. He keeps gaining weight and moving up through the divisions—from flyweight all the way to featherweight—which his trainer thinks is already pushing what his body can handle. Making matters worse, he constantly takes fights against heavier opponents, driving both his coach and himself crazy. Then Sister Angela shows up. She's a novice nun who decides to take Kosaku under her wing and help him get his life together, especially that whole gluttony thing. But living and working that closely together starts to change things. Kosaku develops feelings for her, which is already complicated enough. The real problem? Sister Angela's starting to feel the same way.
