Mio Hagiwara is a rising Japanese celebrity actress who's been secretly in love with her neighbor, the handsome actor Teruomi Morimoto—he's basically her whole reason for staying in the industry. But then Teruomi falls for Aya Sawaki, who happens to be Mio's best friend and a successful singer. Mio's pretty much at her breaking point when the brilliant director Ichiya Kumagai steps in and comforts her. As time goes on, the heartbroken Mio finds herself drawn to Ichiya despite everything, which leaves her wondering why he keeps pushing her away. The series also includes the one-shots "Tenshi to Bouken" and "Radical Romance" in volume 8, and "Green Age" in volume 9.
