Black Blood Brothers
Ten years after the Holy War in Hong Kong, Jirou Mochizuki—the Silver Blade, the last man standing against the Kowloon Children—returns to Japan with his younger brother Kotarou. They're carrying heavy baggage: Jirou lost his lover in that fight, and now he's trying to keep what's left of his family together. Their peace doesn't last. The surviving Kowloon Children have their eyes on the Special Zone, a prosperous city wrapped in an invisible barrier that keeps them out—unless they get an invitation. The world's pretty straightforward: Red Bloods are human, Black Bloods are vampire. The Mochizuki brothers are something rarer: Old Blood, the last of an ancient vampire lineage. When the Kowloon Children snatch Kotarou, Jirou realizes he's got no choice but to pick up his blade again.
