NOeSIS: Uso wo Tsuita Kioku no Monogatari
Shishikura Shigure is your typical high school otaku—obsessed with visual novels, collectible figures, and late-night anime marathons. He's mostly oblivious to what's going on around him, especially at school. Since his parents are working overseas, his childhood friend Koyomi has basically become his caretaker. Then one Wednesday, one of Koyomi's friends goes missing, and she's visibly panicked. She tells Shigure that a month ago, a student threw herself in front of a train. Since then, another girl from their school has killed herself every single Wednesday. She warns him to stay out of it, but Shigure decides to search for her missing friend anyway. At the scene, he encounters a mysterious girl who claims she can see into people's memories. He later finds out she's the student council president—which raises a red flag. Why is she so unfazed about her classmate's death? Is she connected to what's happening? And can Shigure actually stop this series of suicides before more girls die?
