Synopsis

Asuka Empire is a Japanese-themed VRMMORPG and the original stomping ground of the Sleeping Knights. Right now it's running a horror event called the 108 Apparitions, and while Nayuta—a no-nonsense warrior priestess—and Koyomi—an enthusiastic ninja—are taking a breather from the scares, they bump into Yanagi, a mysterious elderly monk. The guy has zero gaming experience but is dead set on completing a specific quest within a week. He's even paying some detective an absurd amount of money to help him pull it off. The detective is just as weird as the job—a foxlike guy who's dumped basically every stat point into luck. Turns out the quest Yanagi's after is Ghost Orchestra, a nightmare-level dungeon that's completely shut down every player who's attempted it so far. So here's the question: can this ragtag group actually clear what nobody else has managed?
