Synopsis

Kids grow up in a sheltered compound, raised by robots in a nursery-like environment. Sure, it seems a bit dull on the surface, but the children are curious and full of potential—honestly, it's pretty much paradise. The world outside, though? Total nightmare fuel. It's devoid of any technology and crawling with powerful, otherworldly creatures. Maru and Kiruko are out there searching the ruins of Tokyo, trying to find their way into heaven. But after all this time searching, heaven might be less of an achievable goal and more of a wishful fantasy.
