Synopsis

One night on his way home from work, Shuuichirou Kudou stumbles across a small winged creature stuck in a tree. He helps it down, and it reveals itself as Kohaku, an angel from Heaven. Shuuichirou's skeptical and figures he imagined the whole thing, so he just heads home and tries to forget about it. But Kohaku shows up in his garden the next morning in their true form. They're grateful for the rescue and want to grant him a wish as repayment. Shuuichirou isn't interested—he's happy with his life as is. So Kohaku decides to stick around instead, determined to stay until he actually needs something only they can provide. Living with Shuuichirou turns out to be pretty nice for Kohaku, but they can't stay on Earth indefinitely. A troublemaking devil named Kouryuu and his gang keep tormenting them, and there's a bigger problem: Kohaku's supposed to be searching for the missing archangel Hisui. Time's running out before both of them get permanently kicked out of Heaven.
