Horizon on the Middle of Nowhere
Kyoukaisenjou no Horizon
Humanity fled a dying Earth for the sky-realm called Tenjou, but a catastrophic war shattered both that world and causality itself. They were forced back to Earth, which had become nearly uninhabitable—except for one region, Shinshuu. Since Shinshuu was too small for everyone, humans created a duplicate dimension called Juusou Sekai to house the overflow population. To restore Tenjou and fix causality, they started replaying human history from 10,000 B.C. onward. By A.D. 1413, they'd caught up to that point in the historical cycle when war suddenly broke out. Juusou Sekai collapsed into the original world, displacing its entire population. The desperate refugees invaded Shinshuu, overwhelming its inhabitants and dividing up the territory. Humanity tried to resume the history replay from A.D. 1457, but something went wrong. The cycle stopped abruptly at A.D. 1648 and wouldn't advance any further. Whispers of an impending apocalypse started spreading across the world.
