Chocotan!
Chokotan is a dog who can talk to humans—and her owner Nao is completely smitten with a guy named Arima, who has his own dog, Hatsupi. When Hatsupi's birthday rolls around, Nao bakes special biscuits that both dogs and people can eat, hoping to give them to Arima. But when she actually runs into him and Hatsupi on the street, her nerves get the better of her and she bolts before she can hand them over. With some encouragement from Chokotan, though, Nao finds her courage and decides to try again. The real question is whether she can actually manage to talk to Arima this time—and what's the deal with Chokotan's ability to speak anyway? It's a slice-of-life romantic comedy about a talking dog and her owner's awkward attempts at love.
