Synopsis

Albireo is a solo player in The World, an incredibly advanced online fantasy game. One day he stumbles across Lycoris, a mysterious little girl trapped in a dungeon, and isn't sure if she's even real or just some kind of system glitch. As they explore together, Lycoris starts breaking every rule The World has to offer, and Albireo begins to suspect she's hiding something dangerous—something that could destabilize not just the game, but cyberspace itself. This is the epic prequel to .hack.
