He's training to be a swordsman instead, which means he's basically the school punching bag. Teachers and students alike won't let him forget that he doesn't fit in. Things change when Lewin meets a couple of magic students in the library. For once, he's got friends who actually like having him around. But then a trip to the Magic division's labs goes horribly wrong. He and his new friends accidentally release an army of undead monsters, and suddenly these inexperienced first-years have to deal with a magical disaster that would be tough even for the school's experienced professors.
