Synopsis

In a distant future where Armageddon has brought a second moon to the sky, an ancient race of vampires called the Methuselah have declared war on humanity. Esther Blanchett grew up as an orphan in a church-run orphanage in the city of Istvan. Her quiet life changes when she meets Abel Nightroad, a priest working for the Vatican to eliminate threats to humanity. What Esther doesn't know is that Abel is actually a Crusnik—a vampire who feeds on other vampires instead of humans, making him the Vatican's most powerful weapon. Everything falls apart when terrorists bomb Esther's church and her best friend Dietrich betrays her. Left with nothing, she joins forces with Abel and Tres Iqus, an android posing as human, to head to Rome and figure out who destroyed her home and why. The trip proves dangerous, forcing them to confront enemies at every turn while uncovering dark truths about Abel's mysterious past.
