Cyborg Kuro-chan
Kuro is a cat living with an elderly couple who lead a quiet, comfortable life. He's their perfect watchdog—or watchcat, rather—regularly defending their home from thieves trying to take advantage of their wealth. Everything changes when an arrow strikes Kuro down and Doctor Go, a mad scientist, kidnaps him. The doctor transforms Kuro into a cyborg to serve his plan for world domination. But Kuro won't play along. He escapes, which sends Doctor Go into a rage. Feeling betrayed by his ungrateful creation, the doctor teams up with Mi, another cyborg cat, to hunt Kuro down and destroy him. Now Kuro's stuck with a high-tech cyborg body loaded with weapons—basically invincible on paper. What makes him different, though, is that he's still got a good heart. And that's what really makes this story work.
