The school has a dark secret. Ten years ago, several students were brutally murdered under mysterious circumstances. Local legend blames it on the "Book of Demise"—a collection of urban legends and folklore. The story goes that a special bookmark inside can make whatever's written on its page come true. Four friends who love spreading rumors—A-ya, an antisocial guy who actually enjoys making stuff up; B-ko, a popular girl who's all politeness on the surface; C-ta, A-ya's grounded childhood friend; and D-ne, a shy, quiet type—discover how to get their hands on the book. They perform the ritual to summon it, not realizing they're about to get pulled into something way worse than they bargained for. Now they're trapped in the Demise Game. The only way out is to figure out which one of them is the traitor. But that's easier said than done, because the bookmark keeps transforming urban legends into reality, slowly revealing a twisted connection to those murders from a decade ago. As lies and betrayal pile up, nightmare becomes indistinguishable from truth.
