Majime na Jikan
Kazusa Uemura gets hit by a car and killed on her way to school. As a ghost watching her own body, she meets Kyuuji Sakai, who explains that souls stick around for a while after death—but they have to be careful not to turn into onryou, vengeful spirits that come back to torment the living. After her funeral, Kazusa tracks down her crush, Miharu Torii, only to learn he never actually liked her. He's interested in Ranko Okabe instead. Bitter about it, Kazusa screams at Miharu in frustration, and that's when Okabe suddenly seems to notice her. Kazusa realizes that if she channels enough negative emotion toward her rival, she can make herself visible from beyond. Now she's at a crossroads: move on peacefully to the afterlife, or stick around as an onryou to haunt Okabe forever. She has to figure out which path she wants to take for eternity.
