Synopsis

A massive demon bear called Akakabuto has claimed Futago Pass as its territory. Around the same time, a silver Akita pup with tiger stripes is born and given the name Gin. He's raised specifically to hunt bears, and eventually brought to meet Riki—the leader of a powerful dog pack and Gin's own father. After Gin proves himself strong enough, Riki accepts him into the group and dispatches search parties across Japan to find more capable males willing to take on Akakabuto. As the third generation of bear-hunting dogs, Gin faces constant danger and hardship in his quest to defeat the terrifying beast.
