Synopsis

Miko Yotsuya's ordinary high school life gets turned inside out the day she suddenly gains the ability to see monsters—grotesque, disturbing ones. Terrified but determined, she decides the best strategy is to just. ignore them. By pretending the horrifying creatures around her don't exist, she figures she can keep herself and her friend Hana safe from whatever they might do. It's not a perfect plan, but it's what she's got. Mieruko-chan mixes horror and comedy as it follows Miko's attempts to navigate daily life while acting completely unbothered by the supernatural nightmare she can now see.
