When nine-year-old Miho Shinohara gets a pair of stuffed dinosaurs from a mysterious stranger, her life takes a weird turn—they suddenly come alive and hand her a magic sketchbook and pen. Using it, she can draw things that materialize into reality, though it's not always easy to control. She can also transform herself into a teenage girl she calls Fancy Lala. That's when talent agent Yumi Haneishi spots her and signs her to Lyrical Productions, kicking off her journey toward becoming a star.
