Tsubasa to Hotaru
Fifteen-year-old Tsubasa Sonokawa has a reputation—and not the good kind. After a popular upperclassman shows her some attention, she becomes absolutely convinced he's her soulmate and pursues him relentlessly. That is, until he tells her straight up that she's annoying and needs to leave him alone. Ouch. The rejection hits hard, but Tsubasa gets a chance to move forward when her friend Yuri sprains her wrist and needs someone to take over as basketball team manager. Tsubasa agrees to fill in, hoping the change of scenery will help her forget about her one-sided feelings. On her first day on the job, she's nearly hit by a stray ball—until Aki Hidaka, the team's shooting guard, steps in and saves her. It's a small moment, but it sets off a chain of events that'll completely turn her life around. The volume also includes a one-shot epilogue called "Stardust★Wink Bangai-hen: Sekai de Ichiban Semai Hoshi."
