Synopsis

Hazuki Kagimura is a bookish girl with a wild imagination who's struggling to connect with her new family. She escapes into stories whenever she can. One day at the library after school, she accidentally wanders deep into the stacks and stumbles onto a hidden magical academy. There she meets Shizuka Tsuchimikado and learns that certain girls—called "mädchen"—are chosen by magical texts to become witches. These texts are the source of all the world's stories. Hazuki herself has been selected by the book of Cinderella. She decides to stay at the school and train to become a true magician, with Shizuka as her new friend and guide.
